Dhriyaan Rajesh

Letter from the Co-Chair

Dear Delegates,

I’m Dhriyaan, and I’ll be serving as your Co-Chair for the Disarmament and International Security Committee.

I chose DISEC because it deals with issues that actually shape how safe or unsafe the world is. The decisions discussed here are serious, and I want this committee to reflect that, while still being a space where everyone feels comfortable speaking, even beginners.

As a person who has been a beginner and a newbie, I will make sure each and every one of you speaks.

As Co-Chair, my goal is to keep debate fair, focused, and respectful. I appreciate delegates who come prepared, speak clearly, and are open to listening to others. You do not need to be perfect, but you do need to be engaged.

I’m looking forward to working with all of you and seeing how this committee develops over the session.

Thank you.
